TRAINING

The following courses are planned.

Basic Computing using Vista is fully booked, but please feel free to contact me as there could be dropouts and in any case I will schedule you for a later course.

Basic Computing using Vista          Friday 28th March, 9.15am-12.15pm/1-4pm (3 weeks), $20

Email (Outlook Express)                   Monday 21st April, 1-4pm (3 weeks), $20

Internet   (Internet Explorer 7.0)         Friday 9th May, 9-12am (3 weeks),  $20

Basic Computing using XP             Tuesday 13th May, 9-12am (4 weeks), $20

PowerPoint 2003                              Thursday 22nd May, 9-12am (4 weeks), $30

Bookings can also be made for courses in Word, Excel, Digital Photography and PrintMaster Cards; however, the latter is unlikely to run until late in the year.   If you are booking for PowerPoint, Word, or Excel please indicate whether you have Office 2007, as there will be separate courses for this version of office.  When booking for the Basic Computing course please let me know whether your home computer uses Vista or XP, as we will again be running separate courses for each system as mentioned below.

The Vista training facility is now functioning in the Humanities office. Pat Berlin has put many hours into developing the Basic Computing course in Vista.

Thanks, Pat.
