Tablet User Groups
All SeniorNet members are welcome to attend the Tablet User Groups. The groups will discuss the operation and applications of the various tablet devices on an informal basis. Note that, although iPads are a form of tablet computer, the name is specific to the Apple brand; most other tablets (such as Samsung Galaxy and Asus Transformer) run under the Android operating system. If you own a tablet bring it along; but if you don't have one and are interested, feel free to see how others are using them.
The iPad group meets on the third Monday of each month in the Boilerhouse Resource Centre from 11.15am onwards. Tea and coffee are provided but BYO lunch. The convener is Barbara Bottenberg
The Android group meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the same venue from 11.15am onwards. Again BYO lunch. The convener is Ken Curwen
